Where and how to apply for spa treatment?
Spa treatment is covered by health insurance companies if it is recommended by the attending physician as a necessary part of the treatment process.
Comprehensive Spa Care
- Treatment, accommodation and meals are covered.
- The patient draws this care during incapacity for work.
- The CAP claim is issued by a general practitioner or specialist and approved by the insurance company's reviewing physician.
Contributory spa care
- Only the treatment is covered; the patient pays for his/her own accommodation and meals.
- This care is usually provided once every two years, especially for chronic diseases.
- Ambulatory spa care (ALP) is possible if the client has a FT or K voucher covered by an insurance company (except for the insurance companies PWD and ČPZP, with whom we do not yet have a contract).
