We perform blood sampling: this test is the most precise. We’ll have the result the next workday and a second visit to the counselling centre is required. This test looks for HIV antibodies (type HIV-1 and HIV-2) as well as the p24 antigen. We offer testing for free, paid by your health insurance, please bring your health insurance card with you.
An HIV infection can only be reliably uncovered by an HIV test. Even an entirely healthy-looking person may be infected. An HIV infection may linger undetected over multiple years without any of the significant symptoms typical of other sexually transmitted diseases.
PRE-EXPOSURE PROPHYLAXIS FOR HIV (PrEP HIV)
